JORDAN A. DRESNICK
101st President

Jordan Dresnick serves as the 101st President of the Dade County Bar Association.  He previously held the elected positions of Director, Executive Committee Member, Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President, and President-Elect.  In his role with the Dade County Bar, he has concentrated on the production of Dade County Bar programming, including the sold-out Federal Bench & Bar Conference, Women of Distinction Gala, View from the Bench seminar series, SuperStars in Trial, Legends of the Boardroom, Legal Luminaries, General Counsels' Diamond Gala, Giants of the Courtroom seminar series, Over the Rainbow Pro Bono Benefit, We Can Dream Pro Bono Gala, Black History Month Celebration, and the Grand Bench & Bar Conference, among dozens of others.  Over 28,000 judges and attorneys have attended programming that Jordan has produced in an unpaid, volunteer role thru the Dade County Bar Association and other trade groups & universities.  Jordan frequently collaborates on CLE programming with former Dade County Bar President Jeffrey Rynor.

 

Jordan serves as the General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer of a trade conglomerate, where he focuses on antitrust and business regulation.  He previously served as a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University School of Law, from which he holds a graduate law degree.  He has practiced at Holland & Knight as well as Baker & McKenzie.  His research has been published by Yale University, University of Michigan, and University of Virginia, and has been cited in the HARVARD LAW REVIEW and in proceedings before the United States Supreme Court, among others.  He became the first practicing attorney in the country to pursue a graduate degree in Mathematical Finance at The University of Chicago.  He is a former elected Director of the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Bar Association and current President of the Spellman-Hoeveler Chapter of the Inns of Court.  He is also a graduate of the University of Miami.  He holds a D.E.L.F. in French Language from the French Ministry of Education, in Paris, France & earned his undergraduate degree in Quantitative Finance, with Honors & Phi Beta Kappa Distinction from the University of Virginia. 

 

An avid fan of Broadway, Jordan has attended over 700 plays, musicals, and special events on the Great White Way, in the City of New York.
